Condemned Already

“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” 
( John 3:18)

Why should a person be saved today?

• One should be saved today because he is condemned today. David in his confession said, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”(Psalm 51:5)  He was not saying his mother was a bad person but that from the time of conception he was a sinner. So are we all. 

• Second, a person should be saved today because there is no guarantee of opportunities to be saved tomorrow.

• Third, a person should be saved today because of the certainty of hell for those who die without Christ.

• Fourth, a person should be saved because of the anticipation and guarantee of heaven.

• Fifth, a person should be saved today because of the availability of salvation by simple faith in Jesus. He that believes is not condemned.

• Sixth, a person should be saved today because Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

• Finally, eternal life is a gift of God through Jesus Christ. Don’t turn down this precious gift.
