“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30)
I was told of a young man who asked that question of the pastor of the church where he was attending only to be told, “Son, that’s not a pertinent question.” If that is not a pertinent question what is that man doing in the ministry?
It is a legitimate question. It is universal. It is ageless. It is a question that must be answered. It is a question that has been answered.
Paul and Silas gave that man the right answer to the question saying, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
