THE LOVE OF GOD

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

No greater love has ever been known, nor has greater love been shown to man than the love that prompted Almighty God to send His Son into the world to live among sinners and to die a cruel death at the hands of sinners while nailed to the cross between sinners all for the purpose of saving sinners.

There is enough Gospel in our text to save the entire world from hell if sinners would just believe. However, everlasting life is a gift and a gift must be received.
