A man had a flock of one-hundred sheep. When one of them strayed away and was lost, he went seeking his lost sheep. When he found it he laid it on his shoulders and called the neighbors in to help him rejoice.
You and I can help bring rejoicing in heaven by going after our lost friends, neighbors and family members. Who in heaven rejoices over a repentant sinner? First, I think God rejoices that His Son’s blood was not shed in vain. Second, I think Jesus rejoices because the Bible says that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Third, I believe the Holy Spirit rejoices over a repentant sinner because His convicting power has directed someone to Jesus. Fourth, the saints of all the ages must rejoice in heaven because they remember the joy that was theirs when they received Christ for salvation.
