Bringing People to Jesus

“He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, ‘We have found the Messiah,’ which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus…”   (John 1:41-42)

I have discovered after many years of ministry that there is nothing to be compared to bringing people to Jesus. We can use our car to bring people to church where they will hear the gospel. Or we can give money to help our church buy a van or bus to provide transportation for the un-churched.

But, to sit beside a lost person in their house, seated on their couch and open the scriptures and to “bring them to Jesus,” is the greatest single thing we can do in ministry. That’s one-on-one evangelism.

Always remember what Andrew did for his brother: “He brought him to Jesus.”
