Cleansing

“Come now and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool..” (Isaiah 1:18)

Isaiah the prophet of God is writing the very words of the LORD who is giving a description of the worst sins possible. God is appealing for a conference of reasoning together with these sinners. These sinners are Israelites of the nation of Judah, God’s chosen people.

The Bible says, “… the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son cleanseth us from all sins.”
(I John 1:7) The repentant sinners go from “scarlet” sins to a life as white as snow. They may be as “crimson” but through His cleansing they shall they shall be as wool, pure white.

“Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?”
