“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.” (I John 3:7)
I have heard it said of someone who was living an ungodly life, “Well, I know he does not live right, but deep down his heart is right.”
Here is what Jesus said about that statement: “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies.” (Matthew 15:19) The Bible also says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
Men attempt to change the Bible in order to accommodate their sins. But if Jesus Christ is invited in and changes man’s heart his life will exemplify that change.
