How much time do you spend in the study of God’s Word? Our text was spoken by Samuel the prophet of God to Saul the son of Kish. In a little while Samuel would be anointing Saul to be king of Israel. Saul would need help from God and God’s man to lead the great nation. He needed to stand still and give heed to the Word of God.
In order to live life you need help from God’s Word. You must take the time to read it, hear it, memorize it, study it, meditate upon it and put it into practice. To do these it takes time. Our text says to stand still and be shown the Word of God. You will be a better person as you study the Bible and put it into practice. Take time to be shown the teachings of the Bible.
